Coily Wash Day
Coily hair (or type 4 hair) is often referred to as afro or kinky hair. Coily hair can consist of very tight corkscrews or a ‘Z’ shaped pattern that starts right from the root. This curly hair type often appears shorter than it actually is due to how tight the curls are - this is referred to as shrinkage. This is the driest and most fragile curl type, as the tightly wound coils don’t allow natural scalp oils to travel down the hair length. We have designed our Coily Wash Day bundle as a complete wash & styling routine that addresses all coily needs: deep moisture and definition.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Specifically tailored to coily hair needs. Suitable for any hair texture. If you have high porosity, make sure to complete your routine with a treatment from our Strength line for best results!
How to use

CURL QUENCHING CONDITIONING WASH
Step 1
Apply a generous blob of Cowash into wet hair. Massage gently but vigorously to clear the scalp and melt down all dirt and product buildup.

CURL QUENCHING CONDITIONING WASH
Step 2
Add some more Cowash to your lengths and gently detangle using your fingers, a brush or a wide tooth comb. Let it sit for 1-2 minutes and then rinse off.

CURL CONDITIONING OIL-IN-CREAM
Step 3
Apply the Curl Conditioning Oil-in-Cream to soaking wet hair after washing. Rake through to ensure you are evenly coating all strands, then use the “praying hands” method to smooth all locks down, seal the moisture in and tame the cuticles.

CURL DEFINING STYLING SOUFFLÉ
Step 4
Use the Soufflé on soaking wet hair. Take a dime sized amount per hair section. Rub it between your palms. Smooth down the length of the hair using the “praying hands” method. Scrunch gently upwards, then air dry or diffuse. When fully dry, scrunch again to break the cast and reveal soft, bouncy curls.
