Contrary to traditional 2 in 1 shampoo & conditioner, which is a shampoo with a little bit of conditioning ingredients inside, this incredibly delicate co-wash is a conditioner with a little bit of cleansing ingredients inside. This unique cleansing conditioning complex helps remove dirt and build-up while being extremely gentle on the scalp, keeping the hair soft, moisturised and detangled without stripping away its natural oils.

Wet your hair thoroughly, then dispense a generous blob of product working it into your palms before applying it directly to the scalp.
Step 2
Massage gently but vigorously to clear the scalp and melt down all dirt and product build-up.
Step 3
Add some more product to your lengths and gently detangle using your fingers, a brush or a wide tooth comb.
Step 4
Rinse thoroughly. If your hair is particularly dry, follow with Curlsmith® Essential Moisture Conditioner!

New label, new ingredient. New allergen
"When you changed your labels, my scalp started itching when I washed. I started getting eczema flare ups on my back and neck- where I never had eczema before. My hair has thinned out and become very damaged looking, despite my air dry routine along with never dying or processing it. I just compared ingredients from the old label, I found a new ingredient: tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes. This is for fragrance and is known to care skin sensitivity and is an allergen. Please remove it from your products. I love your products but they are now ruining my hair."

"I used this product for several years and it was perfect - super moisturizing, super light, etc. Recently they changed the recipe and it's now way too oily for my hair type and has a strong scent. I need a little more conditioning afterward washing with Curl Quenching. What conditioner can I use after curl quenching Conditioning Wash?
HI Bonnie! We have the Essential Moisture Conditioner in the same line, please use this as a wash out conditioner after using the shampoo. We also recommend using a leave-in conditioner :)
