How to Use

Step 1

Rub the product between your hands and apply on soaking wet hair.

Step 2

Use the “raking/praying hands method” to evenly spread the product throughout your strands.

Step 3

Select your desired styling method (scrunch/ fingercurls/ shingle) to enhance and define.

Step 4

Air dry or diffuse. Avoid touching your hair excessively while drying as this will create frizz. Once completely dry, scrunch to 'break the light cast' using an oil or serum to make your hair soft and bouncy.

"I'm 2c/3a curls medium length. dry and prone to frizz. Didn't find this product suited my hair and curl type. I find the consistency of the product hard to work with and using a liitle too much leaves my hair tacky. If i use the correct amount the end result leaves for more individual curls in comparison to the gel as its a lighter product. The finish look is good but over all it does not offer the hold i need to prevent frizz."

Unusual but works well

"Never tried anything like this before but it does work well with my 2c waves. I have tried this alone and it does a good job as a one and done. With a leave in it works great wirh decent hold. Two stars deducted for the packaging - this should be in a bottle not a tub! It's very hard to open with wet hands and even harder to scoop out the right amount as it's so gloopy. P. s. - the guidance on the product talks about dimes and jello - none of this means much to UK buyers so it would be useful to change the guidance to be more helpful!"

Q&A

I have decided my hair is better straightened. Can you still use these products but blow dry straight?
As the Souffle is quite a strong gel, we would only recommend using it for curlier hair types. As you are wanting to straighten your hair, it would be best to use a lighter cream or an oil to keep the moisture in :)
Hi, I’m considering whether to buy this product. I just wanted clarification on what the hold strength is please? In some photos it says it’s a 5 (bouncy hold) and other photos it says it’s a 8 (buildable hold)? Thanks

What kind of hold does the product provide? Unfortunatly the description isn't clear about that, it seems to be between 5 and 8.

Would this be good for taming baby hairs and frizz when doing an updo or hight pony. I always get very fluffy and frizzy baby hairs if I do a high pony and want a cleaner, neater look. Thanks
