"So far I am loving this. My hair is now curly and not frizzy! I used to straighten hair daily but minute there was moisture in air / rain or if I sweated it would go frizzy & curly around base of neck. I now air dry & scrunch & that’s it! "2c/3a Wavey curly medium length. Prone to frizz and dry. Does exactly what it says. Good consistency. Light. Does not weigh down curl even with excess product. Can't fault it. I think the main question will be depending on how dry your hair is will it be moisturising enough or not. I use after conditioner prior to styling with curly gel."

Holy grail

"If I could only use one after wash hair product for the rest of my life this would be it. Nothing compares. I’ve tried literally EVERYTHING and nothing comes close to having the same results as this product. I’m pretty cheap if I can be, but this is absolutely worth it. Just repurchased my third bottle. Also, I have very very thick and dense hair and every bottle lasts a long time especially compared to other leave in conditioners that do not stretch or coat as well"

"I have never used a hairdryer on my hair. This weightless air dry cream is my favorite product from Curlsmith. I apply it onto my wet hair and just fluff and scrunch it . When my hair is dry I scrunch the crunch out of my hair to reveal soft bouncy curls . Amazing !"

Lightweight but no hold

"Very lightweight but it doesn't appear to have any hold. I find my 2c waves drop very substantially within a few hours of drying. It does do okay with the frizz but even with gel on top my curls just don't hold."

Hi, I love this product but I’m still having issue with frizz even with the gel. I do clarify my and apply on soaking hair, what would you recommend?

Make sure you use a leave-in conditioner before you apply your styler. This ensures your curls are hydrated and primed for your gel 2. Use the praying hands method to smooth the gel through your hair, then gently lift your hair from end to root and pulse. Being too rough when scrunching can disturb curl clumps and create frizz. 3. After applying your styler and scrunching to encourage curl formation, make sure you don't touch your hair until it is fully dry. This ensures that your curls stay defined in the cast created by the gel. Use an oil or serum to scrunch out the crunch when your hair is 100% dry, to reveal soft, smooth, bouncy curls.
Love how this looks and feels in my hair when it’s freshly washed but the next time I wash it my hair feels extremely dry! I haven’t changed any other part of my routine so it must be this. What am I doing wrong! Is there another product i should be using alongside it?
The Weightless Air Dry Cream is lightweight but incredibly moisturising and nourishing; it should not be drying out your hair. It may be that you are experiencing product build-up and need a clarifying shampoo to remove any products which are coating your strands and preventing any further moisture from penetrating the cuticle. Please see our Wash and Scrub Detox Shampoo, which can be used every 4-5 washes to help reset your hair and scalp. Alternatively, you may feel it beneficial to go for a richer leave-in, such as the Hold Me Softly Style Balm or the Curl Conditioning Oil-In-Cream.
Has this been reformulated? My current bottle does not say isopropyl alcohol but my recently ordered one off the website lists it as an ingredient. This is a very bad ingredient for curly hair and not curly approved.
Hi Sarah, Thanks for reaching out to us. Isopropyl Alcohol is a material that serves as a process aid in one of our highly effective conditioning ingredients, and is present in very tiny amounts. While IPA on it's own and in high amounts would be drying to the hair, our skilled formulators account for this in the formulation to insure the proper amount of conditioning for curly, coily and wavy hair. Do you add this to the root area or just mix length to ends?
It is best to focus your leave-in on your mid lengths and ends, so as not to cause build up on your scalp.
Can I leave it overnight
