How to use

Step 1

Apply to wet hair. Dispense the gel-to-mousse into your hands. Start with a small amount. Add more if needed. A little goes a long way!

Step 2

Work the product through the hair in sections using the "raking method" for an even distribution.

Step 3

Scrunch the hair upwards towards the root to enhance the natural waves.

Step 4

Diffuse or air dry as usual.

"I was sceptical about using a mousse, not sure why. . . . . . . but wow!!!! The volume and definition I get with this is amazing! I do then seal my curls with the in-shower styler, but the volume is definitely coming from the mousse! Love it! It doesn't weigh my hair down or feel 'producty'!!!"

Needs a bit of practice

"I used this in combination with Moisture Memory Release and heat protection spray and it reacted badly (sticky mess, had to rinse it all out). I tried again with the Hold Me Softly Style Balm, and got better results. Needs a bit of practice! I got this as a free gift with my order. I didn't find it had a strong hold but I used it with a lot of water for styling."

Reformulated :(

"The previous version was my holy grail! It was lightweight, yet gave amazing volume without weighing my hair down. Unfortunately, the new formula feels much greasier and leaves a noticeable oily film, which is too heavy for fine hair. Please consider this feedback - most of your products contain too many heavy ingredients, and not all hair types respond well to them. Despite this, I'm still giving it 3 stars because the volume it provides is truly impressive. I haven't found another product on the market that delivers this level of fullness and lift."

Amazing Volume & Definition

"This Invincible Volume Mousse is amazing! It even gives me some nice volume whenever I air-dry instead of diffusing my curls! It took a little trial & error experimentation to figure out exactly how much of this mousse would need to be applied to my clean wet hair on wash day in order to achieve the best results, and it turns out that less is more of this mousse for my high porosity curls! It's best to apply small amounts of this mousse to my wet curls in sections instead of trying to work a big glob of this through all of my wet curls at once! If I apply too much, it can be difficult to evenly distribute this mousse throughout all of my wet hair! The trial & error experimentation has been totally worth it, because this mousse has become one of my new holy grail stylers! For extra hold, I still prefer to layer a gel over top!"

"Woah. Hormonal hair loss was actually defeated for once. I’ve tried it both on damp and dripping wet hair. For an extended hold, I recommend the in shower technique. It last for three days with minimal products in the morning."

I alternate between the In-Shower Style Fxer and Styling Soufflé. Should the Volume Mousse be applied before or after these products?

So you can apply it first, then follow with either the In-Shower Style Fixer or the Styling Soufflé, depending on the hold and finish you’re going for.
