Nice but not for my curls
"I love the fragrance and the concept of biphasic product, but for my 3c curls it doesn't work good enough as refresh styling method. It adds a little nourishment but it's too light for my dry frizz hair which need a cream based styler even for refreshing."

"2c/3a curly wavy medium length hair . Prone to frizz and dry. An absolute must have for next day refresh and top up during day for me. Greatly reduces frizz, not too heavy, moisturises hair,helps hold curl pattern, sprays eveningly. I've tried alot of refresh sprays on the market, some are nothing but watered down gel, this is by far the best I've came across."

My new holy grail product
"First off, I’m a HUGE fan of Curlsmith products. I always get complements on my hair and other curly hair girls are constantly asking me what products I use. Having said that, I have my routine and am always nervous to mix it up. I do struggle with refresh days though. Feel like my normal products give me mixed results…sometimes turns out okay, some days I’m throwing on a hat. Tried the new shake and shine the day before wash day thinking not a huge deal if it didn’t work, because it was just a day before I would do a whole reset. I was absolutely blown away. No product I’ve tried, and I’ve tried dozens, has made this much of a positive impact on my hair this far from wash day. It calmed the frizz, didn’t weigh my hair down, didn’t have to load a ton of product on (which usually have to on refresh days), gave my curls definition…seriously my new holy grail product! I have used it several times since with the same results. It is so easy, and it just takes all the work out of my refresh days. Absolutely love this product and it has become a staple for me!!!"

- I’m considering purchasing the hairdryer and diffuser and this product is in my cart as a free sample however I am allergic to floral smells, is it possible to substitute something that does not have any flower smelling scent?
- Hi Amy, Thank you for your question. Shake & Shine does have a light floral scent, so it may not be suitable if you’re sensitive to floral fragrances. - Hi! Is the Hydro Style flexi jelly safe to use on colored hair? I don't like disturbing the curls after they are styled but it was mentioned they will be crunchy unless you scrunch to get rid of the cast. Is there something to do to avoid the crunch so after styled I won't disturb the curls? Do you have any other products like this one that won't crunch?
- Hi Beth! All our products are colour safe :) We do suggest crunching the curls but you can also put a small amount of hair oil through your curls to break up the gel too :)
- I have white hair. Is this spray colourless? I have experienced yellowing from using yellow oils in the past.
- The Shake & Shine isn't an oil, it is a refreshing mist. It sprays clear and shouldn't cause any discolouration of lighter hair :)
