Reviews
Lightweight cream that defines curls
"I’ve been trying the Weightless Air Dry Cream and I really like how lightweight it feels on my hair. My curls look more defined and soft without feeling heavy or sticky. I also like the fresh scent and how easy it is to apply on damp hair. It’s a nice option when I want my curls to air dry naturally and still look defined."
— Wendy D. (5/5)
Missing product
"I opened my box of products I ordered and 1 was missing. I reported it to them, and after a short time, they did replace it. I also did not get any free samples. I told them that too but never received any. I do love the product"
— Jennifer A. (3/5)
Super goede moisterizer
"hele fijne krul creme, die je haar niet pluizig maakt en niet laat uitzakken!!"

Keeps my curls smooth and defined
"I have used many different drugstore curl styling products over the years. Even though the one I was using most recently before I switched to Curlsmith's Weightless Air Dry Cream was the best of the of the drugstore bunch, Weightless Air Dry Cream is in a whole different universe. Sure, it's more expensive than basic drugstore products, but it's totally worth it. It keeps my curls smooth and defined without crunchiness or being weighed down."

promising
"I've got fine, low porosity 3a,b,c, grey hair and it's very hard to find products that work. I've only used this twice so far and both times I layered it over a very light leave-in conditioner. I like that it doesn't feel producty after it dries and it gives a nice bit of moisture and definition. It did not help my super dry ends. I just got them trimmed off and will try using the product on fresh ends to see if it's the holy grail that others report. I'm not a fan of the scent. It smells a tad synthetic and sweet, but it's not a deal breaker because it's not that strong. Would much prefer unscented or a more natural scent like herbs or citrus. That's all for now."

"It's been a long time since I discovered a really good product for my hair. My hair felt soft while looking defined and bouncy, I even did a review of it on my TikTok lavidadelyah. Also, I went on a trip and it was the only product that I used to style my hair, my hair is 3b/3c 1000/10."
— Lyah C. (5/5)
Great product
"My daughter and son both love this product. Lightweight and does not leave a product-y feel. A light scent that dissipates and doesn't interfere with other scents."
— Martha (5/5)
Amazing scent and really lightweight
"Great leave-in conditioner without weighing down my curls and it has a lovely scent!"
— Eva P. (5/5)
The best. Doesn’t weight hair
"The best. Doesn’t weight hair down and tames the frizz!"
— Melissa H. (5/5)
I use this product once
"I use this product once a week alongside the weightless air dry cream for several weeks. I finally gave up and started using a drug store brand and the texture and effect was unbelievable. Three products that approximately costs five to ten dollars individually offered incredible hold and improved my hairs texture and overall look immensely. However, the curlsmith line offered poorer improvement to hair texture and to air dry for my mixed colored hair. It doesn't work if you have any hair that could even marginally be considered 'coily' and the majority of the character sticks of my hair texture are curly. It did soften my hair though it provided marginal benifits to what the product is advertises to support. I think there are cheaper brands or different brands or even more expensive brands of a similar value that work better for mixed colored and for hair of people of color in general. I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking to decrease the frizz your hair natrually has, prevent or minimized shrinking during the drying process, or for any curl maintenance, including during drying process. Do not use this product if you have any amount of ethnic background that isn't strictly european. Wouldn't try again and I would want my money back if possible. I genuinely regret my purchase Photos: Yellow walls, drugstore brand; brown sofa, curlsmith"

Q&A
Love how this looks and feels in my hair when it’s freshly washed but the next time I wash it my hair feels extremely dry! I haven’t changed any other part of my routine so it must be this. What am I doing wrong! Is there another product i should be using alongside it?
The Weightless Air Dry Cream is lightweight but incredibly moisturising and nourishing; it should not be drying out your hair. It may be that you are experiencing product build-up and need a clarifying shampoo to remove any products which are coating your strands and preventing any further moisture from penetrating the cuticle. Please see our Wash and Scrub Detox Shampoo, which can be used every 4-5 washes to help reset your hair and scalp. Alternatively, you may feel it beneficial to go for a richer leave-in, such as the Hold Me Softly Style Balm or the Curl Conditioning Oil-In-Cream.
Has this been reformulated? My current bottle does not say isopropyl alcohol but my recently ordered one off the website lists it as an ingredient. This is a very bad ingredient for curly hair and not curly approved.
Hi Sarah, Thanks for reaching out to us. Isopropyl Alcohol is a material that serves as a process aid in one of our highly effective conditioning ingredients, and is present in very tiny amounts. While IPA on it's own and in high amounts would be drying to the hair, our skilled formulators account for this in the formulation to insure the proper amount of conditioning for curly, coily and wavy hair. I hope this helps. Please reach out to us at hello@curlsmith.com and our team will be able to help you. Thanks, Curlsmith
Do you add this to the root area or just mix length to ends?
It is best to focus your leave-in on your mid lengths and ends, so as not to cause build up on your scalp.
Can I leave it overnight
This can be left in the hair overnight!
Hi. Is this cream suitable for men? And does it enhance curls like a curl activator or a curl cream does?
Yes it is! It is a lightweight leave in conditioner that enhances curl texture
