How to use

Step 1

Protect clothes with a towel during application. Section your hair and apply to wet, detangled curls.

Step 2

Smooth over each section, then rake to ensure it coats every strand.

I love this Ruby hair makeup

"I love that this colour shows up well on my dark hair. I've never tried hair makeup before so didn't realise how messy it could be, but I loved the look of it. Just beware of colour transfer on hands if you touch your hair, clothing and scalp. The hold was good but made my hair dry so definitely use lots of leave in conditioner on hair before applying it. If the colour lasted longer and didn't transfer so much I would give this 5 stars ✨️"

Super colour, possibility of some transfer

"I have used this twice now and am super impressed at how the colour comes through (better in reality than in my pics!). There is a slight shimmer/sparkle to the red. I like wearing it on the ends of my hair, the first pic is straight after applying, the second is a couple days later. I found it easier to apply with my fingertips instead of the palms of my hands. On the second time I used it, I used a leave in conditioner before applying the colour, which I definitely recommend if you have dry ends like I do; the colour was slightly drying for them. I did experience some red transfer onto the collar of a light top a couple days later and also onto a sofa I sat on! When styling my hair/tying it back for bed, it also got on my hands. Overall I'm pleased and do recommend this, so long as you're prepared for the things I mentioned :)"

Amazing hair makeup gel

"These hair makeup gels are the best hair product I’ve used for a very long time. I have dark auburn curly hair and in my 40s so have a sprinkling of white hair. These gels applied to damp hair not only give my curls great definition, volume and a luminous colour glow but they also cover any grey hairs. I have nearly all the colours and mix them on my hands when I apply to get a selection of colour highlights. They mix really well, particularly the ruby and gold. My only hope is that they are never discontinued!!"

"I used this on my pre-coloured but faded red hair and also dark roots and it brightened it up a treat! Beware, it is messy to apply and you should be careful to cover clothes and let your hair dry before changing. Great product nonetheless"

Will it stain bleached hair or wash out straight away
It will wash straight out!
Can you use a hair straightener and blow dryer after applying the colour ?
We recommned using a diffuser to prevent transfer onto attire.
I have medium thickness, past the shoulder length hair. How many should I buy?
