"In my experience I did get a lot of residue on my shoulders and also my strap on my bag. It didnt take as much as on my hair as some of the photos Ive seen on here but it smells amazing and I will probably finish the bottle but have my hair up instead. It does dry out the hair so be sure to stay hydrated and moisturised"

"I bought this as an alternative to bleach highlights and found it quite effective , it did transfer a little onto some dark clothes and my hands when styling throughout the week but I was impressed how long it lasted which was until I washed it a week later and I had no problems washing it out."

"Love love love the look of this product - creates a lovely golden shine, easy to apply (full coverage or highlights) and creates a really good cast that scrunches out nicely - great if you like a medium hold all day. If you don't want permanent colour, this product allows you to be creative. It can be messy after application though (does transfer to skin around neck and shoulders), but washes off easily. The colour lasts until your next wash, you only lose a little on refresh day but you can apply more! My other, absolute favourite colours are Copper and Rose Gold (I have dark blonde hair) - can't wait to try the red! P.S. pictures are copper taken in poor light."

On medium or dark hair, the gold shows up as a subtle shimmer or highlight, adding warmth and shimmer rather than a full opaque colour.
